The perfect location to start your Hauraki Rail Trail adventure. Corbett House is conveniently located within Hikutaia township, with the rail trail only 100 metres away. Corbett House is the perfect centre point for a one way day trip along the rail trail. 

Come and enjoy a two night stay at our heritage homestead. We offer a one way shuttle, secure car parking and bike storage with charging facilities. Stay your first night in our largest room, the Kauri room with ensuite. In the morning after a scrumptious cooked breakfast, your host David will shuttle you and your bikes to a drop off point on the trail either at Waihi, Te Aroha, Paeroa, Thames or Kaiaua. After you ride back to Corbett House enjoy some refreshments or a platter (see below for details) in our historic homestead or picturesque gardens. Our swimming pool and cedar hot tub are also available to soak those tired muscles. In the evening you can also enjoy the ambience of the billiard room with a game of pool or snooker (or challenge David to a game). Also enjoy a wine or beer on our upstairs balcony watching the sunset.

SPECIAL - Rail Trail package for two couples

Enjoy our above package with another couple and receive an additional discount. Our converted trailer can carry four bikes or e-bikes with ease. The second couple will stay in the Rimu room which has a super king bed, and private bathroom. As we only offer two bedrooms for hire, with this package you are only guests staying in the house.

This package for two couples for two nights with full cooked breakfast and 1x shuttle for four bikes is $1,200.
